Stay-at-home moms have perfect houses, right?
Empty laundry hampers, pristine carpets, labeled and sorted baskets for toys and such, meals made from scratch waiting in the oven.
Ha.
Not so much.
My home rarely looks like anything out of the pages of HGTV Magazine.
Most days look something like this...
Chase my children around while they: pull books off the shelves, smear leftover oatmeal across the wall, fight over stuffed animals, plaster stickers on every piece of furniture we own, topple the stack of clean cups from the drying rack, sprinkle raisins across the rug, decorate the kitchen table with blue and orange crayons, rip costumes and swimsuits out of the drawers, organize my jewelry across my bedroom floor.
Need I go on?
Sometimes I think the hardest part about being a stay-at-home mom is that you feel pressure to have something spectacular to show for the all the time you spend around your house.
But then I remember that I do have something pretty cool to show for it.
Thing 1
And Thing 2
Hope you are having a splendid week.
XO - Rachel
We're a family of three, going on four, learning how to love God and love other people. In the process, we experience laughs, tears, joys, wins, let downs, adventures...you know, the kind of stuff that makes you
I am the thermostat manager, stylist, nap coordinator, historian, mommy and wife of the Webbie Fam.
My love is the checkbook manager, date planner, Redbox coordinator, sports analyst, daddy and husband of the Webbie fam.
The boy is the train conducting, floppy haired, blue-eyed, furniture climbing, basketball dunking, fruit loving member of the Webbie fam.
The girl is the happy little surprise of pink bows headed our way in May. No doubt that she will be the daddy loving, big brother following, mommy cuddling little lady of the Webbie fam.

Apart from the grace of God, which I need every single second of my life, I am a complete mess. If you're here to find the perfect woman/wife/mommy, I will most certainly disappoint. If you're here to get a laugh or read something that makes you feel feel normal by comparison, you've come to the right place:).

I couldn't agree more! That was a nice reminder not to beat myself up over not getting the house vacuumed or laundry done. :)
Thing 1 and thing 2 are some pretty big and adorable accomplishments!
